GARead-onlyAnalytics
GA4, explained daily
GA4 has every number and explains none of them. Glow reads it every morning and tells you what changed, per product, in a sentence, next to revenue and costs.
What Glow shows from GA4
Users and sessions per product
Day by day, with the usual range so a dip means something.
Conversions
Your key events per product, joined to Stripe revenue where possible.
Channels
Search, social, referral and paid, so you can see what each one brings.
Plain-English changes
Every morning: what moved, why it probably moved, what to do.
Exactly what Glow can access
Glow asks for Google sign-in with the read-only Analytics scope.
- analytics.readonly (view Google Analytics data)
- Nothing else; the granted scopes must match exactly
How Glow checks it
Glow checks that the granted scopes equal the requested read-only scopes, or it revokes and refuses the connection.

GA4 + Glow: questions
Do I need GA4 if I connect PostHog?
No. Connect whichever you use. If you have both, Glow uses PostHog for signups and GA4 for traffic sources.
Can I disconnect GA4 later?
Any time. Remove the connection in Glow and the sealed key is destroyed; revoke it at GA4 too if you like. Your history stays until it expires.
